Devin Nunes, an American businessman and politician who is the chief executive officer of the Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG). Before resigning from the House of Representatives and joining TMTG, Nunes was first a US Representative in California from 2003 to 2022. In March 2017, the U.S. House intelligence committee, which Nunes chaired at the time, launched an investigation into possible Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections. In February 2018, Nunes publicly released a four-page memorandum alleging an FBI conspiracy against Trump. Nunes subsequently began an investigation of the FBI and the Justice Dept. for allegedly abusing their powers in an attempt to bring down Trump.

Producer, Scott Wiper is an American filmmaker: producer, director, and screenwriter. Wiper grew up in Granville, Ohio. He graduated with honors in film studies from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and continued his studies and career in Paris, France. After returning to the US, Wiper wrote, produced, and directed his first feature, Captain Jack (1995). Known for his action films such as The Big Ugly (2020) and The Condemned (2007), FLYNN (2024) is the first documentary in his filmography.

I think if a traditional conservative filmmaker had crafted this story, it would not be for everyone. I’ve tried to make a film that would cut through the political polarization we’re currently experiencing in our country. I think this film is for all who are sincerely searching for answers. I don’t give a shit about the “US versus THEM” politics. I focused on the humanity in what I found to be a monstrous story of David and Goliath. As a filmmaker, I want to reach people who care about love, family, peace, and who are frustrated that these Endless Wars go on and on and on…”
[WIPER] “Whether or not I was going to make a movie, I was searching for the truth as to what’s going on in this country. Most important to me: why are we constantly at war? — and why are so many who call out the War Machine repeatedly character assassinated by the Corporate Media? My own search for answers took me down an enlightening path that led to making a movie I’m very proud of”.
[WIPER] “Fear. There is a manufactured fear that has been injected into many people, especially in the movie industry. If a creative wanted to take a job on a film like this, fear of being black listed or ostracized set in for some. Why? I learned a lot, and I was surprised by how powerful this manufactured fear controls some people who are simply trying to do what they love. I don’t believe this phenomenon happened on the Dick Cheney documentary or the big film about him. Why not? I would guess the answer might be: Dick Cheney never called out the Intelligence Community or the Military Industrial Complex”.
[WIPER] “The truth”.
[WIPER] “I’ve always had a script to work with, and actors. Here, we had real humans, real lives, real stories. That hit me very hard — “hard” like a 747 crashing into your chest every morning when you wake. That may sound extreme, but that’s how filmmakers are. I’m no exception. I’m pretty intense just making an action movie. So this was very different — much more intense for me, emotionally. I felt I had an incredible responsibility to the truth, and to some very good people who had been viciously dehumanized by the Corporate Media”.
